The Extended Baggage EB-180 manufactured by Airglas, Inc. was designed for the early model Cessna 180’s. Early model airplanes had only the standard baggage compartment, from behind the rear seat (fuselage station F.S. 90) to the rear cabin wall (F.S. 108). After about 67’ Cessna started installing a factory extended baggage that goes from (F.S.108) to the next bulkhead aft (F.S.140). Our Extended Baggage is similar to the factory one as far as location and maximum weight allowed. Weight: 5.5 lbs STC Certified on: Cessna 180, 182, & 185 C-170 is coming soon Product Highlights: Fits Cessna 180, Models A-K with the battery moved from the original location. FAA approved for maximum weight of 50 pounds. The extended baggage consists of two pieces, a bulkhead, and a floor panel. The bulkhead panel attaches to the front of the bulkhead at F.S. 140, the floor panel then attaches to the bottom front of the bulkhead panel and slopes forward and down to the floor of the standard baggage compartment at F.S. 108. Construction: Both the bulkhead and floor panel are constructed of vacuum bagged carbon fiber and epoxy resin. Dark gray surface that can be left as is, or can be scuff sanded and painted to match your aircraft interior.

It uses composite/carbon fiber construction to make a hydraulic wheel ski that has excellent performance both on the snow and on hard surfaces. The ski provides a larger surface area on the snow than its competitors, yet is lighter and less expensive. The side door measures 28” long and the height slopes from 9” tall in the front to 6” tall in the back. The Rear Door (15” x 7”) allows long items like lumber, guns, or fishing rods to be put in the full length of the pod. The LC18-1214 Cargo pod allows you load whatever you need in the pod and keep it outside your cabin. You can load it with customer’s camp clothes, fish, gas cans, game meat, or all the finest food for your camp and then spray wash it out when you are done.

Our Scout pod is designed to allow American Champion owners to have cargo capacity up to 94 pounds. The pod has both a side and rear door. Two doors allows for flexibility in loading cargo into pod.Clean profile enhances the look of the aircraft.
